This is a cozy greasy spoon dinner that had a nice breakfast selection. The overall location was fairly clean, service was very good and friendly. Food came out fast and was decent quality and good amount. It was priced marginally high for what we ordered but considering where we were on the island I am sure it was fair. Overall I would recommend this location as long as your not looking for fine dining

Best breakfast, maybe best meal, in Tybee. You will wait outside before being seated. There's a reason why people wait.

Let's start with the wait for the food. More than 45 minutes... The good thing is that they gave us coffee every 5 minutes... I went into the women's bathroom and the smell of cockroaches is very strong and the toilet is dirty... The waitresses were friendly... The food was ok... There were two of us and we waited as if there were 10 of us... More than 45 minutes. To top it off, I asked the waitress what I wanted and she answered the following: "I'm sorry, I wrote down the order but I forgot to pass it in... There are a lot of people today... Should I order it now? I asked how much longer the wait would be?" And she answered 2 minutes... I'm not leaving because we're hungry and there aren't many places open at this time... I don't want to think that it was discrimination... because the other tables of Americans did receive their food and quickly...

My family has been eating at the Breakfast Club for more than 20 years, but that tradition has finally come to an end. The food is mediocre, the restaurant is grungy, but the worst thing is the staff. To say that they are unpleasant is an understatement. We are very familiar with the drill of standing outside (do not dare to open the door to peek in to let them know you're there, or you will incur their wrath), but on our most recent visit we watched as a poor unsuspecting lovely group of people made the fatal mistake of entering through the exit door, triggering such a violently nasty reaction from the staff that they scurried out and never returned. Ordinarily we wouldn't mind waiting almost an hour after ordering to receive a plate of greasy flavorless food, but we draw the line at the lack of civility. Adios, Breakfast Club. We are sad to declare an end to an era.

While a little scruffy and worn about the edges, this little breakfast place is a gem of a find! We arrived just before 11 and there was a line at the door. Don’t worry though, it moves pretty fast; we only stood about 5 or 10 minutes. There was a line like that the whole time we were in the restaurant. Christina was our waitress and boy is she a dynamo. She works as hard as an owner might seeing to her customers.
The food takes a bit to come out but the wait is worth it. I chose the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette. It was amazing and really hit the spot. My husband ordered a pecan waffle with a side of their homemade sausage patty. He enjoyed his waffle and I got to taste the patty which was very flavorful.

Wish I could leave no stars. This by far was the worst restaurant we've ever been too. We could of got better breakfast at McDonald's and we hate that place. However McDonald's would of been cheaper, got more food and actually tasted better. The service sucked. Were not in an egg crisis anymore. So why $7 for 1 egg. And i swear the omelets were made with quail eggs or something or maybe just one egg. Smallest omelets ever. With yalls prices yall could at least give better portions. People walk away from this place broke and still hungry. We don't mind spending money for good food. Which this place well no we did not like the food. Oh and $4.95 for a cup of coffee. yall ripping people off. Not sure how this places stays open.

Food tasted cheap, not much flavor and had no seasoning. The chicken fried chicken and it was rubbery. Hash browns had a grease heavy taste. Waitress' were great. Never waited for fresh coffee or refilled water!

Like the other reviews, they “forgot” our ticket and have been waiting more than an hour to get our food. My mother-in-law was waiting in a wheelchair, up to the point where they cut the music indoors for closing… But they still served us anyway and even had a “happy bday whip” surprise. The waitress was amazing— she is the backbone of this place considering our family was large and the last table and had 2 energetic toddlers with us. Thank god the food was pretty amazing, the country fried steak and pecan waffles were so good.

We're staying at an r v campground nearby and were recommended to check out this place for breakfast. Was a cold wet tuesday morning, so there was no line outdoors. And we were seated quickly. As we entered, we had to walk by one of the waitstaffs standing out front having a cigarette. Not my favorite way to start a breakfast. Our waitress arrived promptly and asked what we wanted to drink. We both ordered coffees. Renoticed on the menu that that was four dollars and twenty five cents per cup and they only offer one refill. I can only suppose that is to try to move people out of the restaurant as it's fairly small, and it is in high demand as it's only one of two restaurants for breakfast on the beach front. We ordered omelets. Mine was a cheesesteak and my wife ordered the skip jack. We opted to not get grits or toast as we were really just wanting the protein. The omelets came in fairly short order, certainly an acceptable time. They are two a omelets and so appeared fairly small on a plate where that was the only thing there. They were, however, both very tasty and filling. This is a tourist destination, so of course, we expected to pay a premium amount. We did just that. I would tell you that it is a quaint restaurant. The food is good, but it is definitely not a place I would say is a "don't miss."
